Horrible Week of 1/19

This week i have a lot of homework/quizzes/tests/projects.
For History, we had to do this propaganda poster analysis thing and it is very confusing and annoying because the instructions were vague.
For 2nd period i will have a test on Paradise Lost which was very hard because i kept on spacing out when we were discussing it in class.
3rd period is even more painful because ive always beeen really bad at math so i never understand new things and i have a quiz on friday.
4th period is my favorite period because its PE! and we dont have hw
5th period i have to finish the packets and study for the test on friday which i dont understand ANYTHING. so i have to study all night long.
6th period i didnt do my hw and didnt turn it in on saturday b/c i didnt know it was due on satuday night at 11:59. And my friend told me on sunday and by then it was already to late.

Like Dissolves Like

Dissolving is the process of making a solution by mixing liquids together. In a solution, there are two parts: the solute and the solvent. Solute + Solvent = Solution.

"Like Dissolves Like" means a solvent dissolves solutes with polarities that are similar to their own. Nonpolar solvents dissolve nonpolar solutes.

Break went by WAY too fast

I just got back to school on tuesday even though it was supposed to be on monday but since the teachers have a work day, students get one extra day off. Hurray! :) During the break i didn't get to go anywhere outside of the bay area because my sister had to take SAT classes so i couldnt go to Tahoe like i originally planned to. Oh wells! my friends and i went to play badminton and we hung out. I also went to watch fireworks with my friends at downtown SF but it was SO CROWDED! and it was mostly college people so you see a lot of drunk people walking around and a lot of smoking. I think i inhaled so much smoke i'm probably going to get cancer very very soon. :P And now i'm back in school and the teachers are torturing us to death. :(
